Our industry is progressing, but there are gaps in innovation, especially BIM. Please assist the construction industry by taking the following 10-minute survey to provide your feedback on a subject that can assist the industry as a whole.
The Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development is seeking industry input on the Supporting Ontario’s Safe Employers (SOSE) Program. Many stakeholder groups are distributing this to their members and requesting feedback by September 15, in order to share and draft an adequate and comprehensive response to the Ministry. The OGCA is requesting all comments and feedback to be sent directly to Giovanni Cautillo, by September 15. The final submission deadline is September 22. On the identified machines (number series is in the bulletin), Skyjack has identified a quality issue with the weld between the mast base plate and mast vertical section. Failure to implement this bulletin may result in cracks developing along the weld between the mast base plate and the mast vertical section, potentially leading to structural failure of the vertical mast causing serious injury or death.
