OGCA members achieved important improvements in lost time injuries (LTIs) in 2015 as reported by the WSIB. The ten-year trend has been spectacular with the member’s frequency improving by 310% in reducing our rate to .26.

The Ontario Ministry of Labour has released a discussion Report called the Changing Workplace Review. It considers numerous changes to the Labour Relations Act and the Employment Standards Act to "increase worker protection" under these provisions.

The Ministry will be accepting comments until October 15, 2016.
