- In conjunction with the Clinical Optometric Methods and Procedures SIG, those who use VR Magic simulators seem to have mixed feelings about them
- Those who love them seem to report no real issues
- Those who don’t love the simulators seem to have breakage issues
- All seem to report issues with the learning modules – could be more robust
- ExamSoft/Electronic Test Administration
- Most are happy with ExamSoft
- Questions about how best to provide student feedback on tests/quizzes without releasing the actual test
- Strategies include:
- Descriptively categorize questions and release the categories to students
- Descriptively title questions and release the question titles to students
- Place learning outcomes associated with the question in the rational portion of each question, and release the rationales to students
- From all these, the student should be clearly guided to the topic area they need to work on
