Actions: Finalized core competencies for neuro-optometric rehab education and began plans for compiling a bibliography and reference document of articles discussing neuro-optometric rehab.
Additional Topics Discussed/Speakers: Annual meeting was held the following morning, where Dr. Vanessa Bachir was elected as the new chair-elect. During the annual meeting, a writing committee was formed to create a white paper discussing the new core competencies. An additional committee was created to head the neuro-optometric rehab reference list project. The SIG plans to begin writing a book on neuro-optometric rehabilitation over the next year. We will meet again for a virtual meeting in April 2020, in person for a working meeting on October 6 and at our annual meeting on October 7 at the 2020 AAO meeting in Nashville.
