Actions/Topics Discussed: The group discussed the optometric competencies that had been submitted and sent back for revisions. Group discussed and reviewed areas of improvement for another draft. In addition, the group discussed how to better engage students in the classroom; specifically, how video recording of lectures has changed classroom attendance. In addition, comments on exam performance were briefly discussed when comparing those that only attended lecture versus those that only watched the lecture recording.
