Founding President of Women of Vision Has Passed Away
On Oct. 3, Rhonda Schuff Robinson, BS/OD’82, passed away. She was the founding president of Women of Vision, a professional organization designed to create opportunities for educating, mentoring, networking and helping female optometrists.
In 2008, Review of Optometry named Dr. Robinson one of the “10 female optometrists making an indelible impact on the profession.” During her career, she was an optometrist/co-owner of Ossip Robinson Optometry in Indianapolis and of Cane Expressions in San Clemente, CA. Also, Dr. Robinson was an adjunct faculty member at Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University.
