DeWayne Nevil Retina Research Fund Created at IUSO
Barbara Cannaday wished to honor and memorialize her father, DeWayne Nevil, who passed away. Before her father died, he had suffered a loss of vision due to Stargardt Disease. Cannaday decided that she wanted to memorialize her father in a way that would help others. Cannaday’s $10,000 gift has now established the DeWayne Nevil Retina Research Fund at the Indiana University School of Optometry.
