Salus University’s Looking Out for Kids Fundraiser a Big Success
Salus University’s 14th annual Looking Out for Kids (LOFK) charity fundraiser — this year a combination live and virtual event — held May 1 was a tremendous success, raising more than $170,000.
The fundraiser’s specific focus this year was the university’s Mobile Healthcare Unit, affectionally known as the “Big Red Bus” (BRB). The bus is in critical need of being replaced, and the event raised money to make that a reality. The BRB provides much needed comprehensive vision care and eyeglasses on the road to children in and around Philadelphia. The event attracted 100 people, who logged in to join the festivities virtually.
