2021 Online Clinical Educators Forum -- Registration Now Open

The overall objective for this Online Clinical Educators Forum (OCEF), titled Increasing and Strengthening Communication with Families in Eye Care, is to have our optometric colleagues share their personal experiences, insights and professional strategies for strengthening communication with families in all parts of eye care. Participants will come away with the skills/tools needed to more effectively ‘think about the story behind the story’ of every patient in order to optimize patient outcomes.
The featured areas of emphasis under this communication umbrella will be provider interaction with non-English speakers and increasing and strengthening relationships with families of patients with disabilities. The event will feature several panelists and the discussion will be guided by OCEF program planning co-chairs Dr. Valerie Kattouf (ICO) and Dr. Amy Roan Moy (NECO).
