Maddie Arbaugh Joins ASCO as Communications Intern

Maddie Arbaugh became part of ASCO’s team as an intern in July 2022. She is currently a junior at the University of Maryland in College Park, majoring in Communication with a specialization in Public Relations.

Maddie originally became interested in the communications field because she has always enjoyed connecting with others, both through socializing and writing. Maddie is from Sykesville, Maryland, and attended Century High School. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Maddie will be working on ASCO’s communication needs and hopes to continue through the school year. She is very excited to expand her communication skills through her ASCO internship and to learn more about working for a non-profit organization, which she is interested in pursuing as a career after graduation.
