SCO Awards Presented at Convocation
In September, Southern College of Optometry held its first in-person Convocation ceremony since 2019 as alumni, faculty, staff and students were honored in a special ceremony.
Dr. Michael Dorkowski, Associate Professor, received the 2021-2022 Outstanding Faculty Award as voted by his peers on SCO’s faculty. Other notable awards were presented to Dr. Sharon Berger Moscow, a 1980 SCO graduate who received the Lifetime Achievement Award, and to Dr. Erick Henderson, a 2017 graduate who was the recipient of SCO’s Young Alumni Award.
