ASCO Welcomes New Member School
The Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions, College of Optometry, is ASCO’s newest member and is scheduled to open in 2023. Located in Provo, Utah, the College of Optometry received preliminary accreditation in October and is accepting applications now. They anticipate enrolling their first class of about 60 students and start teaching in May 2023.
Founding Dean, Dr. Adam Hickenbotham, is now a member of ASCO’s Board of Directors and will oversee curriculum development, hiring of faculty and staff, as well as accreditation through the Accreditation Council on Optometric Education.
