SCO Students Win EssilorLuxottica Academic Challenge
Three Southern College of Optometry students took home the top prize at this year’s Fifth Annual EssilorLuxottica Academic Challenge held during the American Academy of Optometry meeting in San Diego.
More than 1,000 students cheered on contestants representing 25 schools and colleges of optometry as they answered academic questions related to eye and vision health.
Meredith Fry, Karrie Sestak, and Lindsey Tillery, all members of the Class of 2023, received medallions as Challenge Champions. They also received a $1,000 prize from the American Academy of Optometry and a pair of Ray-Ban Stories from EssilorLuxottica.
