SCO Hosts State Associations
Representatives from 20 state optometry associations attended Southern College of Optometry’s annual State Day event in January. The event marked the return of the first in-person State Day since 2020 as hundreds of students networked and learned about the importance of becoming involved with their station, regional, and national optometry associations.
In addition to a trade show and networking event, a college-wide assembly heard a panel of speakers discuss recent gains for laser legislation.
