Alcon Launches the 2023 Case Report Study
Alcon is pleased to launch the Alcon Case Report Award for 2022-2023 Academic year! The Case Report Award is open to all 4th Year Optometry Students slated to graduate in 2023. This year Alcon has decided to update the format of this award and move from a written report to a Multimedia Video format. The intent is to create additional interest in this award by inspiring students to harness their creative thinking with their passion and clinical aptitude for optometry. Alcon encourages students to have fun with this creative process and take advantage of the options that a video medium offers.
A full communication with entry guidelines and criteria has been sent out to all Deans and Presidents. Please inquire within your respective institution for further details; otherwise, questions can be directed to Chad Zscherny, Director of Academic Development at Alcon (chad.zscherny@alcon.com).
Alcon is excited to roll out this new format and “see” the demonstrated learnings captured in the video case studies. The National winner will be announced and acknowledged in May once all entries have been received and reviewed. Best of luck to all participants!
