SCO Faculty Honored
Three Southern College of Optometry faculty members were recently honored for their research.
Drs. Melissa Zarn, Gregory Wolfe, and Janette Pepper were named the recipients of the 2023 Dr. Lester Janoff Award for their research paper, “Training Implicit Bias and Awareness of the Impact of Systemic Racism on Health: A Preliminary Study of Second-Year Optometry Students.”
The award recognizes outstanding writing of a research article published in Optometric Education, ASCO’s online Journal.
