Optos Expands Imaging Modalities to Include Ultra-widefield optomap Color RGB
optomap® ultra-widefield (UWF™) retinal imaging modalities available with the California device have expanded to assist eyecare professionals further in detecting, managing, and treating retinal pathology.
In addition to optomap color rg (red/green), sensory red-free, choroidal, autofluorescence, fluorescein angiography, and indocyanine green angiography modalities, now available is the first ultra-widefield color rgb (red/green/blue) image.
This new image modality is captured simultaneous to the optomap color rg image. Thus, a single capture delivers two amazing color UWF images. In addition to the clinically-validated optomap color rg images, optomap color rgb provides optimized visualization of the retina to providers as they manage patients and their ongoing care.
