The new OCULUS Easyfield VR™, launched exclusively in the U.S., is a mobile visual field analyzer and vision screener that streamlines practice flow and improves the patient experience. This virtual reality headset performs visual field exams in 45 seconds and visual field threshold tests in under three minutes and can also conduct color vision, contrast sensitivity, and stereo vision screening.
The headset’s SMARTTracker™2 Fixation Tracking technology accurately monitors patient fixation at a fixed distance, ensuring reliable, reproducible results while reducing the potential for patient errors and fatigue. The virtual reality headset is lightweight, easily adjustable, and foam-padded to provide maximum comfort for patients of all ages.
Technicians can save time with faster tests that patients can complete autonomously thanks to the audio-guided examinations of the Easyfield VR™. Staff members can start, monitor, and export results from the Surface Pro Tablet, all without requiring an internet connection. Crucially, the device functions as a seamless addition to practices and integrates with OCULUS diagnostic devices and the centralized database of the OCULUS Patient Management System software.
