NECO Announces Honorary Degree Recipient, Presidential Medals, and Six Valedictorians for the College’s 130th Commencement Exercises
Honorary Degree Recipient includes Myopia expert and Research leader Dr. Jane Gwiazda.
Presidential Medal Recipients include Editorial Director Emeritus of Vision Monday and VMAIL Marjorie Axelrad, and Marc Ferrara, the former CEO of Jobson Publishing’s Information Services division and current Executive Consultant for Jobson Optical Group.
Our six Valedictorians include University of Maine graduate and Benton, ME's Kaylee Brann; Saint Joseph's College graduate and Strafford, NH's Sarah Curtin; Elon University graduate and Middleton, MA's Kylie Donahue; Bonnie Loh of Charlotte, NC and North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC graduate; Zach Turple of Comox, British Columbia and a University of Victoria graduate; and lastly Zamaan Valani of Edmonton, Alberta and University of Alberta graduate.
