OCULUS Launches All-in-One Myopia Management & Ortho-K Fitting Solution
OCULUS, Inc. is launching the Myopia Software Package as an optional upgrade to the Pentacam® AXL Wave.
Practitioners can now offer myopia management, screen for corneal abnormalities, and fit specialty contact lenses, all with one device. For myopia clinics, the Pentacam® AXL Wave supports:
- Assessment of axial length growth rate, refractive error, and corneal health and power
- Comparison of patient data to age and ethnicity-dependent growth curves
- Analysis of individual treatment efficacy against age-adjusted normative data
- Communication of projected risk to parents via easy-to-interpret charts and customized reports
- Evaluation of corneal stability and suitability for ortho-k
- Side-by-side comparisons and difference maps to assess ortho-k fits
In addition, optometrists can seamlessly measure and manage myopes between the Pentacam® AXL Wave and the Myopia Master® with the shared patient database and myopia management software.
