VSP Vision Announces 2024 Vision of Hope Scholarship Winner

VSP Vision™, along with the University of Pikeville-Kentucky College of Optometry (KYCO), is proud to announce the winner of the 2024 VSP Vision of Hope Scholarship: Seth Clark, class of 2028.

This scholarship is intended for an excelling first-year student at KYCO from the Appalachian region. Applicants need to be committed to practicing in the Appalachian region and providing access to care for a rural, underserved patient population during their optometric career. Selection is completed by KYCO Faculty’s Scholarship and Awards Committee.

A native of Harold, Kentucky, Seth has known he wanted to work in the optometry profession since he was in high school. He was awarded the scholarship by the VSP® Schools of Optometry Program team during orientation week. He was awarded $5,000 for his optometric education.
