Shannon Collins Thackray has been named Vice President of Human Resources for Rev360, the company that delivers RevolutionEHR and a suite of eyecare practice and advancement solutions to eye care professionals (ECPs) throughout the US and Canada. Thackray has a distinguished career in Human Resources, from small start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. She came to Rev360 most recently from Accenture, where she had served in several senior roles within Human Resources and Recruiting.
“We are so excited to have a proven, people-first leader join the Rev360 C-suite as we continue our rapid growth and expansion,” said Scott Filion, CEO. “Shannon brings a tremendous track record of elevating the talent of an organization.”
Thackray’s wealth of experience in Human Resources comes from serving companies in the technology, consulting, financial services, healthcare, and recreational sports industries. Her immediate short-term goals are to assess the overall HR function and implement enhancements to key programs, including performance management, organizational design and talent acquisition.
“My greatest strength is the ability to partner with a leadership team to understand the business objectives and then create and implement the HR strategy and actions to support those objectives,” she explained. Longer term, “We’re really looking at the growth we expect Rev360 will have across its three business units and ensuring we are organizationally aligned in the most effective way for that growth. That includes having a strong plan for both attracting new talent and developing and retaining our existing talent,” she said. In addition to RevolutionEHR, Rev360 also stewards the Professional Eye Care Associates of America, the nation’s premiere doctor alliance group; and Visionary Partners, an innovative partnership between Rev360 and ECP’s to sustain and grow independent eye care practices.
“One of the many reasons I came to Rev360 is that I saw the importance that the current leadership team places on the HR function and their commitment to their employees,” said Thackray. “They definitely see HR as a strategic partner and an integral part of their business growth and success.”
Thackray holds a BA in Organizational Studies/Human Resources from the University of Michigan. She is also the co-founder of Cold Cap Advocacy Denver, a volunteer organization that helps women fighting breast cancer save their hair through the cold cap process.
