FDA Announces Clinical Investigator Training Course

Are you a researcher with a basic understanding of clinical trials, regulatory requirements and medical product development, who wants to learn more about clinical trial design and analysis, safety and efficacy requirements, roles and responsibilities of the investigator and more?

The FDA’s CDER Small Business and Industry Assistance is offering a Clinical Investigator Training Course on November 12-14, 2019 in College Park, Md., where these topics and others will be covered. Learning objectives include:

• Explain the responsibilities of an investigator conducting a clinical trial.
• Describe what to look for in drugs being studied in a clinical trial.
• Describe the basic concepts of clinical trial design.
• Review clinical data for sources of bias and error.
