Meeting Virtually May 18, 20, 25 and 27
The Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) invites faculty teams, health partners, and single learners who are new to or early in their adoption of interprofessional education to a virtual faculty development institute, Building Interprofessional Education for Collaborative Practice and Health Equity in May 2021 (meeting virtually on the 18th, 20th, 25th and 27th). The institute offers expert instruction, guided team and small group planning sessions, and networking with peers geared towards emerging with new or refined interprofessional curricula or projects and related assessment activities, strategies, and methods to prepare one’s student learners for collaborative practice and health equity. Tuition includes full access to asynchronous learning modules, four days of interactive, synchronous sessions, and networking with the institute cohort, plus access to session recordings post-institute. Additionally, participants will be invited to join an ongoing virtual learning community where they will continue to develop their educational curricula or projects, network, receive feedback from colleagues and experts, and share their successes. The institute confers continuing education credits (dentistry, nursing, and public health) and includes a longitudinal two-phase certificate option.
