Registration Now Open for Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association Annual Conference

Registration is now open for the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation AssociationTM, International (NORA) 32nd annual conference, September 8-11, 2022 at the Hyatt Regency Columbus, Columbus, Ohio.

The NORA annual conference is a premier event for eye care and other health care professionals who provide rehabilitative services to individuals who have suffered a traumatic brain injury. The 2022 conference will provide a variety of continuing education presentations (COPE approval pending) with key opinion leaders from optometry and other specialties offering a combination of hands-on and lecture style presentations.

“NORA advocates the values and principles of working as an interdisciplinary team of professionals to deliver quality patient care to those patients who have physical or cognitive disabilities as a result of an acquired brain injury,” says NORA president DeAnn Fitzgerald, OD. “An integrated team approach that incorporates the training and expertise of a variety of professionals has been shown to play a vital role in rehabilitation and improvement of patient outcomes, as reflected by this year’s conference theme, “Better Together.”

The NORA 2022 conference features up to 17 hours of continuing education credit, including:

One-day of clinical skills workshops (Each attendee may select from one of three different levels that run concurrently and cannot be taken simultaneously).
A full-day symposium in which attendees will learn how the application of lenses, compensatory and yoked prism, filters and selective occlusion can help improve the lives of patients with traumatic brain injury, degenerative disorders, developmental delays, tumors and stroke.
General Conference sessions, including a series of presentations on a variety of topics.

Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to spend dedicated time with exhibitors so that they can learn about and gain first-hand experience with a vast array of products, programs, and services.
