Newest Addition to the Alcon Academic Team!
We at Alcon are very excited to welcome Rich Smith to the Academic Development team as the newest Alcon associate covering the optometry schools and colleges in the West and Midwest. Rich brings with him a strong background in the Med Tech industry having held various commercial roles in both the pharmaceutical and medical device industries over the past 25 plus years.
In addition to his three years with Alcon, Rich has experience in optometric practice ownership alongside his wife who is a practicing Optometrist in the Indianapolis, IN, area where they make their home. Rich’s passion and experience in academics will serve him well in his new role as Academic Development Manager-West.
We look forward to introducing Rich at various events moving forward as we work to identify ways to further elevate our support of the ASCO member institutions!
