A Message from the President - Nicole Trotter

April is a busy month for guidance counsellors and teachers in Ontario. For Secondary School Counsellors there are many college expos, events for the guidance sector, and the college and university dialogues.

The Ontario College and University Dialogues provide an an opportunity for guidance counsellors to meet representatives from various college and universities and get hands on information about programs, degrees and diplomas, admission requirements, financial aid and so much more. We encourage you to take advantage of these events and register soon. 

For our elementary school counsellors, the next few weeks will begin transition planning, and spring events like Skills Canada events, career days, steam nights, passion days, and so much more. With spring in the air and the warmer days ahead we start to remove the winter layers and gear up for our busiest days in the guidance office. Whether you are attending some spring events or planning your own events, we want to thank you for the time, presence, and dedication you give to your students.
