PennyDrops is a student-run not-for-profit organization that teaches financial literacy lessons about concepts such as budgeting, taxes, investing and worker rights to students so that they can gain the confidence necessary to handle different financial situations they may encounter once they leave high school. PennyDrops has been teaching lessons across Ontario and Canada as a whole since 2015. In this webinar, some of PennyDrops' chapter executives and mentors will present on how financial literacy education is about building students' capacity to make knowledgeable decisions, and how different forms of curricula have varying levels of success in achieving this outcome.
