As part of our commitment to Ontario youth, Project Youth Energy will be hosting an Education and Job Fair on Sunday, March 3 2024 at the Delta Hotel in Mississauga. This special event will bring together recruiters from several companies, who are searching for full-time, part-time and/or summer staff, as well as select colleges and universities, as well as some
trainers and apprenticeship organizations including: Eaton Manufacturing, York United Soccer, Metrolinx, Niagara College, Toronto Metropolitan University, the Institute of Electronic & Electrical Engineers, and many more.

This fair is a unique opportunity for young people to meet face-to-face with recruiters, develop their networking skills and gain valuable career and education advice, as they move around the room and speak to a diverse crowd of hiring managers, mentors, tutors, employers, and career counselors.

Project Youth Energy is an innovative initiative to connect with young people whose education and career path were disrupted by the pandemic. Our team helps young people connect with tutors and mentors, who help them complete their education and level-up their career planning and job search skills for a successful future.

The pandemic and its related lockdowns and school closures had a lasting impact on the education and social development of many young people. While some dropped out of high school or post-secondary and never returned, others missed important milestones such as working at summer jobs. Consequently, many youth continue to feel lost and unsure about their futures.

We welcome all Ontario youth ages 15 to 25 but especially those who are still struggling post-pandemic. We want them to know that we are here to support and guide them as they navigate their educational and employment journey.
