Carleton University Recruitment Update

I wanted to take this opportunity to say a warm hello from myself and the entire Carleton community during these unprecedented times! I hope you and your family are staying healthy and safe. 

I also wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for all the hard work you are continuing to do to support your students and help us all get through this challenging time. I am always here if you have any questions or concerns regarding Carleton University and our students (or if you want to have a zoom coffee chat!). 

There are a couple of things that I wanted to highlight - we have reached out to your students who have pending applications to Carleton as well as those who are currently holding offers of admission. Here are some of the resources that we provided for them: 

• As always we are encouraging students to check the status of their application on Carleton360 and reach out to us if they have and specific questions or concerns
• We have let them know that we will be receiving their mid-term grades and will be continuing to assess applications as we receive grades
• We have added some new features to our Undergraduate Admissions website:
  • A virtual experience to showcase how our community is coming together at this time;
  • live chat to connect with our experts;
  • and a frequently asked questions page to address some COVID related topics

Lastly, throughout the month of May we will be offering a series of live webinars! We will be welcoming students, parents and counsellors (you!) to our Carleton community to highlight the following: 

• Innovative Carleton initiatives
• Program and Faculty Spotlights
• Student Services and Resources (PMC, Awards and Financial Aid, etc.)
• And more!
