Guidance counsellors in attendance were entered into a draw to win the scholarships for their
school automatically by filling out a contact form at UNF’s display table at the conference.
Congratulations to the two winners, Susan McGlynn with Eastdale Secondary School from the
District School Board of Niagara and Callie Sockett with Forest Heights Collegiate Institute
from Waterloo Region District School Board.
As Ontario’s newest university, UNF is an innovative and digitally oriented institution that
prepares graduates for leadership in a digital world. The university is offering more than $15
million in awards and scholarships to those studying in 2025. All domestic students admitted in
2025 will automatically receive the Canada Community Appreciation Entrance Award, valued at
30% of their overall tuition fees. For undergraduate students in the Honours Bachelor of
Business Administration or Bachelor of Science – Biomedical Science programs that represents
a $9,612 award.

for 2025.
