AMC president, Leah Olson, spent this past week in Ottawa finding out more about the federal government's approach to superclusters and the role of agriculture, farmers and shortliners in economic development.
In addition Leah and Geof Gray, President and CEO of Salford appeared before the House of Commons Agriculture Committee to respond to questions about non-tariff trade barriers. Leah provided brief opening remarks (click here to download) based on input from members followed by a 40 minute period of questions to her and Geof from various MPs on the committee.
