AMC was happy to host over 60 people at its reception July 17 that was sponsored by KPMG and DOT. The reception kicked off with greetings from Lloyd Longfield, MP for Guelph on behalf of the Canadian government as well as Steven Bonk, Legislative Secretary to the Minister of Economy who brought greetings on behalf of the Saskatchewan government. The room was filled with key manufacturers, suppliers, farmers and others dedicated to a strong agriculture industry in Canada.

On August 28, AMC president and 3 board members will meet with select board members and staff of AEM and FEMA to discuss working together. AMC and FEMA have and continue to work well together for the interests of the shortline equipment industry. The recent announcement by AEM is encouraging and AMC will report outcomes to AMC members in September.
