GBTA Legislative Summit Registration for the 17th annual GBTA Legislative Summit will be opening soon. This event will be a unique opportunity for business travel professionals to meet face-to-face with new Congress members to share your opinions and help to set the emerging legislative agenda. The issues identified now will be the basis for the legislation that will govern our industry for years to come. Join your peers not only to make your voice heard, but to discover how you can navigate the political landscape now and in the future. No advocacy experience is necessary, just a passion for the work you do and a desire to defend it. Interested in enhancing your career in meetings and events? Consider achieving the certified meeting professional (CMP) credential. MPI Potomac will offer its CMP Winter Bootcamp in a weekend format to review the body of knowledge covered on the exam. Brian Chung, Visit Baltimore, Marketing/PR Committee received the latest Star Award at the December e2 event. Chung manages MPI Potomac's Facebook and Twitter pages. As the committee was re-organizing, Chung took the lead in using new platforms and software to keep the chapter's social media presence to continue growing followers. Brian is a committed leader and steps up to challenges and changes. He is a valued member of the committee and the chapter! |
