Södra Hikes Pulp Prices $30/Ton

Södra Cell, Sweden, this week announced a $30 per metric ton price increase for its softwood pulps, effective January 1. The increase raises the company's pulp price to $830 per metric ton. "The pulp market is robust. The stocks remain on a historically low level and the demand keeps being strong," says Ulf Edman, president of Södra Cell International.
