Saraswati Orders Coating Rebuild from UMV

Saraswati Udyog India has awarded the rebuild of coating operations at its Tamilnadu, India, mill by UMV Coating Systems AB, Sweden. The rebuild will include a new ABCTM Coater with a new metering element INVO Tip. Delivery and installation is planned for the middle of this year. The Tamilnadu mill produces coated white duplex board from 100% recycled fiber, which is being imported. Basis weight of the board varies from 230 to 450 gsm. The rebuild is a part of a major upgrade of the full board line.
