SCA Appoints Cronin as President of European Packaging Operations

 SCA Packaging, Stockholm, Sweden, has appointed Michael Cronin the new president of its European packaging operations, and a member of SCA's Corporate Senior Management Team. Cronin, of Irish origin, has more than 30 years of experience within Alcan Packaging/Rio Tinto where he has held various senior positions of increasing responsibility dealing with complex and multicultural business as well as customers. In his position as president of SCA's European Packaging business, which he assumes on March 7, he will have a strong focus on improving profitability of the company's packaging operations, Jan Johansson, president and CEO of SCA, noted.
