NewPage Uploads New "On Paper" Podcast Episodes

NewPage Corp., Miamisburg, Ohio, USA, has uploaded two new episodes in its "On Paper" sustainability podcast series. In these episodes, Arlin Wasserman of Sodexo and Chris Lloyd of Verizon discuss how their respective companies aid communities and consumers alike in making informed decisions for global good.
Wasserman, VP of corporate citizenship, discusses the unique ability of Sodexo, the world's largest provider of institutional food and facilities, to support sustainability practices on the farm while driving energy, water, waste, and greenhouse gas emissions out of the food supply chain. In the Verizon episode, Lloyd, executive director of public policy and strategic alliances, discusses Verizon's involvement with the group Global e-Sustainability Initiative (GeSI). He outlines four areas where the group believes that information communication technology (ICT) can play a role in promoting more energy efficient behavior, using ICT and broadband to facilitate the development of smart grids, smart buildings, smart transportation, and travel substitution.
