RockTenn Appoints Leone VP of Recovered Fiber Procurement

RockTenn, Norcross, Ga., USA, has appointed Linda Leone VP of recovered fiber procurement - Containerboard and Coated Recycled Board (CRB) Mills. Leone will manage the fiber procurement groups for six of the company's 10 recycled board mills in the U.S. RockTenn consumes approximately two million tons per year of fiber. Leone's experience in buying fiber, developing procurement support systems, and implementing effective long-term sourcing strategies will continue to optimize RockTenn's recovered fiber procurement systems and practices, the company notes. While continuing to direct purchases for the Solvay mill, Leone also will be in charge of supplying recovered fiber to RockTenn's coated recycled paperboard mills in Stroudsburg, Pa., Missisquoi, Vt., St. Paul, Minn., Battle Creek, Mich., and Dallas, Texas. This reorganization of the recovered fiber procurement effort will better align the company's overall recycled fiber procurement strategy.
Additionally, RockTenn has named Bob Carpenter fiber procurement manager for the Solvay mill, John Carpenter fiber procurement manager at the Stroudsburg and Missisquoi mills, Tom Troskey recycling operations manager at the St. Paul mill, John Kneeland fiber procurement manager at the Battle Creek mill, and Alfred Gallegos fiber buyer at the Dallas mill.
