SKF Appoints Benoit VP Operations

SFK Pulp Fund, Longueuil, Que., Canada, has appointed Jean-Pierre Benoit to the position of VP Operations. Benoit will oversee the operations at the company's three virgin and recycled pulp mills located in Saint-Felicien, Que., in Fairmont, W.Va., USA, and Menominee, Mich., USA. As part of his new duties, Benoit will participate in the implementation of SKF's new operational excellence management model in all of its mills. Before joining the SFK Pulp team, he was GM, East Paper Division of Fraser Papers. Benoit, who has 25 years of overall experience in the pulp and paper industry, will begin his new job February 15.
