Thiele Names Tang Tech Service Engineer, Von Bornsdorff Sales Manager

Thiele Kaolin Co., Sandersville, Ga., USA, announced this week that, effective April 5, Sue Tang will join the company as Technical Service Engineer for North America. Tang received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from Hunan University in China and a Master in Chemistry and Physical Chemistry from Purdue University. Prior to joining Thiele, she was employed by Dow Chemical/Rohm and Haas Co. based in Charlotte, N.C., where she worked for the past 18 years as senior paper coating specialist/chemist.

The company also anounced that effective today (April 1), Robert von Bonsdorff joined Thiele Finland as sales manager for the Finnish and Swedish markets. Von Bonsdorff is a native of Finland, where he earned his Masters Degree in Material Science from Helsinki University of Technology. Prior to joining Thiele, he was project engineer in the Minerals and Metals Select Team for Worley Parsons in London. His experience also includes sales engineering roles at Metso Minerals in Sweden.
