Pankaboard to Raise Cartonboard Prices

Pankaboard, Lieksa, Finland, is increasing the prices of its folding box board by EUR 80 per ton in continental Europe and 80 Pounds Sterling per ton in the U.K. The company attributes the increases to escalating costs in the industry and strong market demand for cartonboard. Pankaboard has one mill with a production capacity of 100,000 metric tpy on two paperboard machines.
