Södra Raises Softwood Pulp Prices $20 per Metric Ton

Södra, Sweden, has announced an increase of $20 per metric ton for softwood pulp in Europe. The new price of $980 per metric ton becomes effective June 1, "The pulp market remains solid, with strong demand and low stocks," said Ulf Edman, president of Södra Cell International.
