U.S. Unbleached Kraft Board Pushed by Improved Order Backlogs

June list prices for unbleached kraft boards in the U.S. rose $30/ton to $855 - $915/ton—the first increase since August 2008 and the first price change since June 2009, Wilde points out. The current price increase is driven by a pick-up in activity and improved order backlogs. This increase will help restore the spread with coated recycled board (CRB) prices, which rose in September 2009, January 10, and April 10.
