M-real Increases Coated, Uncoated White-Top Kraftliner Prices in Europe

M-real, Finland, announced that it is raising the price of all of its Kemiart white-top kraftliner grades, beginning September 20. The increase is EUR 50 per metric ton in continental Europe and £45 per ton in the U.K. The company says it also will start negotiations with customers regarding shorter payment terms. The company notes that the increases are driven by strong demand and increased input and transportation costs.
