U.S. December UFS list prices were mostly flat, but preliminary November shipments data suggest that prices could come under additional pressure, according to Wilde. November UFS volumes were down 7.2% y/y and 6.5% m/m; YTD shipments are down 2.5% y/y. Pricing signals are mixed. "Our discussions with trade contacts suggest that while premium brand prices are relatively stable, mid-tier mills, private label suppliers, and importers are offering more discounts," Wilde said. MOCR prices fell $10/ton this month. In November, list prices were down $10 - $25/ton.
