Rayonier Adds Boynton to Board of Directors

 Rayonier, Jacksonville, Fla., USA, announced this week that President and COO Paul G. Boynton has been elected to the company's board of directors, effective immediately. Boynton was elected president and COO in September 2010, previously serving as EVP, Forest Resources and Real Estate. He joined Rayonier in 1999 as director of Performance Fibers marketing and sales, and was later named VP, Performance Fibers marketing and sales, and SVP, Performance Fibers.
"Paul's expertise in all three of our core businesses will bring a unique perspective on strategy and execution to the board," said Lee M. Thomas, chairman and CEO. "His long-standing relationships with our customers and his 11 years of operational experience with Rayonier will also benefit the board."
