Program Announced for TAPPI Corrugated Symposium

The Technical Program has been announced for the 2011 TAPPI Corrugated Symposium on Trends, Technology, and Management Issues in Box Plants Worldwide, 7 April 2011 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in Shanghai, China. The TAPPI one-day technical symposium will be held in conjunction with the SinoCorrugated Show, 6-9 April 2011.
Learn from international speakers as they discuss market trends, technology and management issues in box plants worldwide.
• Dr. Graham Moore, Strategic Consultant, Pira International Ltd., will give an overview of the global containerboard packaging sector from the perspective of manufacturing and end use application sectors
• Tom Pearce, President, Pearce Corrugated Consulting, will share the principles to managing a successful box plant and how to identify the gaps in production management
• Pankaj Shah, Director, Supack International, will provide a historical look at the use of corrugated materials as well a look into what future innovations in store
• Davide R. Friedman, President Fibre Tech Packaging Solutions, LLC, will discuss the traditional relationship between the boxmaker and the end user, exploring ways to optimize that relationship from a holistic point of view
• Daniel M Brunton, Managing Director, Brunton Business Publications Ltd, will moderate a panel discussion of international corrugated issues
