Caraustar Hikes Uncoated Recycled Paperboard Prices

Caraustar Industries, Atlanta, Ga., USA, announced a price increase of $30 per ton on uncoated recycled paperboard grades supplied from the mill system. The increase will be effective with shipments on or after June 8, and is necessary due to the increased costs of freight, chemicals, supplies, and raw materials, the company said.
Caraustar serves the four principal recycled boxboard product end-use markets: tubes and cores, folding cartons, gypsum facing paper, and specialty paperboard products.
