Tembec Names Coates VP, Communications and Public Affairs

 Tembec, Montreal, Que., Canada, has appointed Linda Coates as corporate VP, Communications and Public Affairs. Coates has a long-standing career of more than 25 years in the field of communications and public relations, having held various executive positions in Canada as well as in Europe with global, diversified companies involved in the sectors of mining and metallurgy, cement and related products, and high technology manufacturing.
Coates graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in linguistics and communications and a Master Degree in business administration. She will play a pivotal role in the corporation as the principal accountable for corporate communications, public relations, and government relations.
